THE FOURTH COSMOGONY

The series of eighty bas-reliefs THE FOURTH COSMOGONY reconstructs the divine origins – and before that the computer origins – of (our) Label World, the world full of contradictions and distortions whose beings animated and not (created in a bizarre but not random order) are composed of the standard shapes of common labels according to the rules of the visual code Hierocodic. The fourth cosmogony is inspired not only in its name by the three cosmogonies elaborated in ancient times by Egyptian culture: the cosmogony of Heliopolis, that of Hermopolis and that of Memphis. Similarly to these extraordinary experiments of systematization of what was intuited and what was experienced, at the same time conceptual and spiritual, even the cosmogony of Label World contemplates divinities that create and self-generate, that use “tools of creation” (the egg and the wheel lathe), that give rise to a divine lineage structured in ennead (the Mega Ennead) and ruling with the help of lesser divine entities (Lieutenants, Secretary of Management, Parallel State and Distraction, designed as a generous gift for human beings). But if in the fourth cosmogony the order of the Universe is soon broken up by unscrupulous vital forces (Homologation, Standardization and Individualism), also the god Patriarchal Greed, to whom after the creation will be entrusted the government of Label World, at the end of the cosmogonic phase will appear on the horizon technological innovations that could question his power or his power absoluteness. Who knows, depending on how artificial intelligence technologies and blockchain devices evolve and are regulated by legislation (and how space missions, ageing of the population and the climate crisis will proceed), a new cosmogony may need to be developed for a New Label World: Cosmogony 5.0.
